Maybelline Eyestudio Color Pearls Marbleized Shadow~Bronze Blowout, Review & Swatch

Maybelline Eyestudio Color Pearls Marbleized Shadow in 60, Bronze Blowout
.09 oz-Made in Canada-$6.69

What a beautiful duo! I was skeptical at first because I already own so many nude shades, that I didn't really think that I'd find much of a use for this, but I'm really glad that I invested!

Bronze Blowout is comprised of a mid-toned brown with bronzey undertones, and a pink with lots of golden shimmer. To me, the pink was reminiscent of the pink from the 2010 JK Jemma Kidd holiday palette, which I don't really use because it's too pink for me, but the pink in this duo is more muted and on the golden side. Much more wearable.

These shadows are marbleized, so they have a lot of shimmer and a lot of fallout. But, it's manageable and honestly, not that bad.

As far as wear time goes, this lasts a really long time on my lids, but only when I use my fingers to pack it on over a base. I think that the pink shade is definitely better applied with your fingers, especially to prevent a lot of fallout.

Swatch with flash

As you can see, the colors swatch beautifully!

The Pros:
The colors are very complimentary and would suit any skin tone, and they're very pigmented and vibrant!

The Cons:
There's a little fallout, but it's not too bad.

The Bottom Line
This is just a really nice neutral duo. Definitely worth a shot, especially if you're a beginner in makeup!
